Ed is thrilled to announce that two of his paintings have been selected for the prestigious Royal Society of Marine Artists Afloat or Ashore Exhibition. It’s an honour to be part of such a renowned event, showcasing work that celebrates the beauty and power of heritage vessels. Much gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to this remarkable exhibition, and excited to share his passion for old boats with a wider audience.
The brief was for a painting featuring one of the many registered Historic Vessels to be found in ports and harbours around the UK.
Ed chose the Petrel Lightship vessel at Whiterock Bay in Co. Down and the HMS Caroline, which is docked in Belfast.
The exhibition can be viewed online and the works will be exhibited early next year in London and Exeter.
